About ComThings

ComThings makes open-source hardware and tools for analysing sub-1 GHz radio communications. Its PandwaRF platform can capture, analyse and retransmit RF signals through an Android device or Linux PC. The hardware supports multiple frequencies and modulations used by wireless devices.

PandwaRF products

PandwaRF Marauder is designed for discreet RF capture. It can automatically listen for and record RF data on pre-configured frequencies and modulations, demodulate the captured data, save it in internal memory and replay it when required. Its autonomous operation supports authorised assessments of compatible wireless systems.

PandwaRF Rogue Pro is a portable sub-1 GHz RF analysis tool for advanced users, including penetration testers and security professionals. It supports capture, analysis and retransmission through Android or Linux, scans commonly used 315, 433, 868 and 915 MHz bands, and supports larger captures and higher data rates than the standard PandwaRF. ComThings describes its enhanced brute-force capabilities for testing wireless device security.
