“Under-the-door” Bypass Tool

Descrizione

The Sparrows Under-the-door Bypass Tool is designed for authorised physical security assessments where a door has a lever handle that can be operated from the inside. It passes beneath the door and uses a cable and pull-ring to engage the internal handle, helping testers assess day-latched or free-exit doors without manipulating the lock cylinder. Use only with explicit permission, within an agreed test scope.

Key features

• Designed to operate an internal lever-style door handle from the opposite side.
• Can be used during authorised on-site penetration tests, locksport practice and physical security training.
• Suitable for doors where pulling the inside handle releases the latch.
• Intended to avoid bypassing the lock mechanism itself.
• Supplied as one Under-the-door Tool.

Technical details

• Length: over 100 cm, approximately 42 inches, according to the supplied product information.
• Ships flat-packed because of its length.

Compatibility and setup

The tool is intended for standard lever handles and free-exit doors. It is not suitable for knob-style handles or doors with a separate locking mechanism that prevents the inside handle from releasing the door. No software, firmware or host computer is required. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and test only doors covered by written authorisation.
