Descripción

The Hak5 USB Rubber Ducky MicroSD Card Replacement provides removable storage for a compatible USB Rubber Ducky during authorised security assessments, research and education. Payload files are stored on the card, which can be removed for file management or replacement when required. RedKit Labs is an authorised Hak5 reseller.

Key features

• Replacement MicroSD card for the Hak5 USB Rubber Ducky
• Supports storage and transfer of USB Rubber Ducky payload files
• Removable format for managing files outside the device
• Suitable for authorised penetration testing, security research and training

Technical details

• Hak5 documentation advises using a MicroSD card rather than MicroSDHC, MicroSDXC or MicroSDUC
• Cards of 2 GB capacity or under are specified in Hak5’s official guidance
• Hak5 recommends retaining the supplied smaller card because larger capacity or more files may increase deployment time

Compatibility and setup

Use with a compatible Hak5 USB Rubber Ducky. The card can be removed and accessed with a MicroSD card reader when managing its files. Hak5’s current USB Rubber Ducky documentation states that the device is designed to work with Payload Studio without requiring firmware flashing. Use only with systems and devices for which explicit authorisation has been granted.
