Descripción
The ComThings PandwaRF Marauder is a standalone sub-GHz RF capture device for authorised security assessments, security research and education. Configure it to listen on selected frequencies, leave it to record transmissions, then retrieve the captured data for analysis or replay in a permitted test environment.
Key features
- Autonomous capture: records RF data after configuration without requiring a smartphone during operation.
- Internal storage: automatically demodulates captured data and saves it in the device memory.
- Multi-frequency monitoring: supports recording on one or two pre-configured frequencies, depending on the model variant.
- Capture replay: replays stored RF data using the dedicated Android application or transfers captures to a compatible PandwaRF Rogue device.
- Rolling-code analysis: Marauder Ultimate integrates with Kaiju for displaying rolling-code information in the Android application.
- Data export: exports captures to JSON files in the Android device’s storage.
Technical details
- Supported modulation formats include 2-FSK, GFSK, MSK, ASK and OOK.
- Configurable frequency range: 300 MHz to 928 MHz.
- Recording is organised in one-second memory sectors.
- Manufacturer documentation lists 256 sectors for Marauder Basic and 512 sectors for Standard and Ultimate variants.
- Ultimate supports scanning a 500 kHz-wide frequency band instead of only a single frequency.
Compatibility and setup
Configuration, capture retrieval and replay use the dedicated Android application. Set the target frequency and modulation, start capture, and recover the device later to review or export recordings. Transfer to a PandwaRF Rogue requires a compatible Rogue version. Kaiju functionality may require a separate licence, depending on the feature and product variant.
Buying in the UK and EU
Prices may be displayed in GBP, EUR or USD, with VAT handled at checkout where applicable. UK and EU buyers must follow national radio rules and use only licence-exempt bands and permitted settings when transmitting. Receiving and analysing RF data is the common lawful use, and all testing must be authorised.
