Descripción
The O.MG Cable is a programmable USB cable for authorised security assessments, red-team engagements and security training. It can deliver controlled DuckyScript keystroke-injection payloads to a connected host, helping teams evaluate physical access controls, endpoint monitoring and defensive response. Use it only on systems where testing has been explicitly approved.
Key features
- Keystroke injection: Send DuckyScript payloads through the cable when conducting an approved exercise.
- Browser control: The manufacturer documents a web interface for managing the cable and its payloads.
- Basic tier: Supports up to 8 payload slots.
- Elite tier: Supports a larger payload capacity than Basic and adds manufacturer-documented capabilities including hardware keylogging and covert data transfer functions. Confirm the applicable feature set for the selected hardware generation.
- Wireless control: Manufacturer documentation lists an integrated 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n radio for supported functions.
- Multiple connector options: Available configurations include USB-A or USB-C host ends with Lightning, Micro-USB or USB-C device ends.
- One-metre length: The listed cable options are 1 metre long.
Technical details
- Power input: 5 V, plus or minus 0.5 V, up to 500 mA.
- USB data passthrough: USB 2.0, up to 480 Mbps.
- Passthrough charging: up to 5 V.
- Radio: 802.11b/g/n at 2.4 GHz.
- Payload syntax: DuckyScript with O.MG-specific extensions.
Compatibility and setup
Payload management is documented through a web interface and manufacturer firmware tools. The cable supports browser-based control on compatible desktop or mobile environments. Host behaviour and connector compatibility depend on the selected USB-A or USB-C configuration and the connected device. Keep firmware current using the manufacturer’s documentation.
Buying in the UK and EU
RedKit Labs lists O.MG Cable options in GBP, EUR and USD, with VAT handled at checkout. UK and EU buyers should confirm applicable rules for covert recording, access tools, radio transmission at 2.4 GHz and the lawful use of keystroke-injection hardware before deployment.
